Early Life and Career

Clint Eastwood was born on May 31, 1930, in San Francisco, California. He began his acting career in the late 1950s, appearing in a series of low-budget Westerns and action films. He rose to fame in the 1960s with his iconic role as the Man with No Name in Sergio Leone's Spaghetti Western trilogy.

Later Career and Success

Eastwood continued to star in popular films throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including "Dirty Harry" (1971) and "The Enforcer" (1976). He also directed his first film, "Play Misty for Me" (1971), in 1971. In the 1980s and 1990s, Eastwood established himself as a critically acclaimed director with films such as "Unforgiven" (1992) and "Mystic River" (2003).

Eastwood has won numerous awards for his work, including the Academy Awards for Best Director and Best Picture for "Million Dollar Baby" (2004). He has also received a Kennedy Center Honor and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute. Eastwood continues to be active in Hollywood, directing and starring in films such as "Gran Torino" (2008) and "The Mule" (2018).
